Kelli’s Kickin’ Cranberry Holiday Cheese Spread

½ cup Whole Cranberry Sauce*

1 pkg cream cheese, softened (8oz)

¼ cup sour cream

2 TBSP Karo light corn syrup (or 2 tbsp honey)

1 TBSP diced fresh jalapeño (remove seeds) can add 2 TBSP if you want it spicier!

½ teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce

1 TBSP Chives (or green onions)

1/4th teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4th teaspoon salt

*Homemade is the best…and it’s easy. Just follow directions on side of pkg of cranberries. Only change I make is adding the juice of one orange to the cranberries.  But you can also use canned whole berry sauce.

Mix together cream cheese with all ingredients EXCEPT cranberry sauce.

When mixture is smooth, spread on serving dish, making a bit of a well in the center of the cream cheese mixture for the cranberry sauce. You can just pour it on top, but looks prettier this way. I like to garnish the cranberry sauce with a few chives. Serve with crackers.
