Hot Springs Historic Downtown Farmers Market

There’s a lot going on at the Hot Springs Historic Downtown Farmers & Artisans Market (HSHDFAM) this winter! New hours, new vendors, new Winter Market, new Holiday Market and a new board of directors are just some of the exciting happenings at the Farmers Market Pavilion, 121 Orange Street.

The HSHDFAM is a year-round Market focused on featuring fresh foods from local farms and handcrafted artisanal products from regional artists.

“During Main Season, May to October, our focus is on the farmers. They are why we exist. But we’re a year-round market, so to help fill the gap, we’re launching Winter Market,” said Meredith Pitts Finn, President, HSFAM.

Winter Market is Saturday, 9 a.m.- noon, November to April, and serves as a complement to the Main Season Market. “Winter Market has more artists and artisans, unique handmade items and homemade baked goods. Its purpose is to keep the Market full and thriving through the cold months, when produce production is low,” said Finn.

Holiday Market is Saturday, December 1 and 8, 9 a.m. – noon. “I’m really excited about our new Holiday Market! Come shop for handcrafted holiday items, Christmas gifts and baked goods. We’re expecting a great mix of old and new vendors with holiday-themed items and edibles,” said Finn.

The new HSHDFAM Board of Directors includes: Meredith Pitts Finn, President; Scott Connaway, Vice President; Debbie Tripp, Treasurer; Tyler Teague, Secretary; Chad Olszewski, Market Manager; Deborah Decker, Mike Melancon and Jamie Scott.
