Cypress Bayou

Cypress Bayou Specialty Meats LLC introduces specialization in the meat market sector with hand-chosen
premium cuts and authentic Cajun recipes. Entrepreneur and owner, Dustin Rushing, runs his business just like
everyone is family. Rushing welcomes the community to stop by and explore his variety of menu items.
“These recipe blends come directly from southern Louisiana bayou country. We would not change the
recipes the old-timers spent generations perfecting,” is a theme echoed by the family who brings this culturally rich
experience in food to the Greater Hot Springs and Central Arkansas market.

Rushing is proud of sharing this new concept to families on-the-go. He will have the customer’s entrée
ready for pickup making it convenient to sit down and eat on busy week nights. His knowledge about premium and
choice meat selections are part of his heritage, as he grew up on the farmlands and cattle ranches of Southwest
Arkansas.

The menu items are prepared fresh daily and always begin with the best premium meat and are combined
with spices and Cajun tradition extraordinaire.
Rushing points out that spicy does not always mean “hot and spicy.” “Some people expected all our house
specialty entrees to be hot because Cajun food has that reputation. Our customers are happy to enjoy the authentic
flavors without all the extra-hot items. And customers order their own way. We cook it the way they want it,” he
says.

Cypress Bayou paves the way as the first in Central Arkansas to provide this new concept to “take home
dinner already prepared to cook” while delivering top shelf meat with a genuine and authentic cultural flavor of the
south, which is highly sought after in this area.

“Savour the Cajun Flavor” in either of two locations. The first just opened at 3958 Hwy 7 North in June.
The second is scheduled to open soon on Alcoa Road in Benton. Pick up deboned chicken stuffed with your choice
of favorites or boudin made fresh daily. Open 9-6 pm Monday – Saturday.
