The Red, White & You July 4 th Picnic in the Park

Friends of Hot Springs National Park (FHSNP) and the National Park Service are hosting “Red,
White & You,” a free, family-focused old fashion patriotic “Picnic in the Park” on July 4, from 10:30–4,
rain or shine. All the excitement will be on Arlington Lawn, directly across from the Arlington Hotel in
downtown Hot Springs.

Hot Springs Bathhouse Dinner Theatre is the presenting sponsor of this fun-filled family event.
Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the free entertainment by Maxwell Blade, Jacob Flores, Sylvia Stems, Justin
Chastant, Laura Lee Williard, Ken Goodman, Johnathan Erlandson, and more!

Family activities include the Evans Construction Bounce House, games, face painting, temporary
tattoos, Starstuff Story Theater, and educational exhibits by National Park staff. Sign up the kids for the
first annual Fat Bottomed Girls Cupcake Race.

Delicious burgers and hot dogs will be available for purchase along with beer from Superior
Bathhouse Brewery and Budweiser, soft drinks from Coca-Cola, wine, Mountain Valley Spring Water,
cotton candy and snow cones.

Friends of HSNP salute all the sponsors for their generous support of this fund-raising event: Hot

Bathhouse, the last bathhouse on historic Bathhouse Row to be reopened.
