Go Green in 98 Feet: St. Pat’s Parade Wants You!

Can This Crowd Get Any Wilder? Just Watch!

It’s a mere five months to the 23rd edition of the World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade on 98-foot Bridge Street in downtown Hot Springs.

“We’re now accepting entries for the First Ever 23rd Annual edition of the parade,” said Visit Hot Springs CEO Steve Arrison, founder of the huge little parade that now attracts worldwide attention to the city. “We haven’t announced any of the special guest celebrities who will be marching down Bridge Street yet, but those surprises will be coming soon.”

Visit Hot Springs Marketing Director Bill Solleder said anyone who wants to participate can fill out the entry forms at https://forms.gle/aYjMDq2k2MUtLDkk9. Forms are also available at the Visit Hot Springs offices in the Convention Center.

“We only accept 40 entries each year because of the space limitations of a 98-foot parade,” Solleder said, “so anyone wanting to grab a spot should get their info together and enter as soon as possible.”

Information about registering can be obtained by emailing Visit Hot Springs Special Events Manager Alexis Hampo at ahampo@hotsprings.org

The World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade annually attracts more than 30,000 fans from across the country to Bridge Street, which Ripley’s Believe It or Not declared the World’s Shortest Street in Everyday Use. It features an array of 40 or more zany entries that adopt the parade’s irreverent take on the boisterous holiday.

For more information, call Steve Arrison at 501-321-2027.
