Host a Student, Change a Life

Global connections made right here in Hot Springs. Soaking up the good times with this amazing group of exchange students.

United Studies, a leader in international high school student exchange since 1985, is issuing a nationwide call for compassionate host families to participate in its annual program.

Founded on a unique “Sister-State Agreement” between Oklahoma and Kyoto, Japan, United Studies’ mission is to foster global understanding by immersing international students in the American high school experience.

The benefits of hosting extend far beyond offering a spare room. Host families gain a new global perspective, exchange cultural traditions, and build long-term, loving relationships that often span decades. After facilitating thousands of successful student programs from countries around the globe, United Studies knows the profound positive impact this experience has on both the students and their American families.

Families interested in opening their homes and hearts for the upcoming academic year are encouraged to apply today.

For those who are unable to host, United Studies also welcomes applicants to become a Local Coordinator. Coordinators play a crucial, supportive role in matching students with families and providing monthly guidance. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in a student’s life while also generating income.
