Hot Springs Jazz Society’s Mardi Gras Costume Ball & Contest is rolling out the best of past years and upping its game with new ideas to keep this event the “Most Exciting Party of the Year!” Throughout the evening, new and exciting diversions are planned that will keep you wondering what to do next.
The costume contest for $1,000 in cash prizes, an extraordinary silent auction, dancing to two exceptional bands, honoring Queen Jazz VII and her King Jazz VII, Dana and Don Gooch, a raffle of a singularly extraordinary piece of fine jewelry, guessing the number of corks in the bottle to win a prize, juggling, magic, singing, and the list goes on. There will also be Mardi Gras style cuisine and adult beverages for purchase.

The Mardi Gras Costume Ball & Contest on Saturday, March 2, from 6:00pm till the fun ends (if it ever ends) will be presented in the Hotel Hot Springs’ Ballroom at 305 Malvern Ave.

The Mardi Gras Ball is the only fundraising event presented by the Hot Springs Jazz Society, a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to perpetuating, promoting and preserving Jazz Music, an original American art form. The Jazz Society is funded in part by the Arkansas Arts Council, Hot Springs Advertising and Promotion Commission, Morris Foundation, and Elisabeth Wagner Foundation along with numerous other corporate and private sponsors.
