Geocaching

Into Geocaching? Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices.

Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.

There are 855 geocaches in various locations around Hot Springs according to Geocaching.com. The City of Hot Springs Parks & Trails Department maintains a listing of all caches placed in city parks and along city trails through a free permitting process.

If you are interested in hiding a cache in a city park or along a city trail, the approval of cache content and location must be granted by the Parks & Trails Department prior to placement of any items on City of Hot Springs public lands.

Please call 501-262-1519 to schedule an appointment to meet on-site at the location of your proposed cache.
If you are interested in finding caches in city parks and along city trails, please see the Parks & Trails Geocache Listing and map for coordinates and other information at www.cityhs.net/632/Geocaching.
