A Journey into Edgar Cayce’s Teachings: Judith Stevens Visits Arkansas in August

Judith Stevens, a student of Edgar Cayce material for over 50 years, will present a workshop in August.

The A.R.E. Central Arkansas Area Team invites seekers of spiritual growth to Becoming Our Authentic Selves: Growing Into Our Mission, a transformative workshop led by A.R.E. staff member and Cayce scholar Judith Stevens. Taking place Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at DeGray Lake Resort State Park, this in-person event (with on-demand recording available) offers a rare opportunity to explore the deeper dimensions of self-awareness and purpose.

Stevens, a student of the Edgar Cayce material for over 50 years and an A.R.E. staff member for more than three decades, brings a lifetime of insight and compassion to her teaching. Participants will compare Cayce’s readings on transformation with timeless inner work practices—from Lao Tzu’s Tao Te Ching and the Gurdjieff/Ouspensky method of self-observation to Thomas à Kempis’ Christ-centered discipline and Native American and Quaker approaches to simplicity and peace. She is currently the National Outreach Volunteer Coordinator working with members worldwide. A longtime contributor to Venture Inward Magazine, Stevens founded the original “Over the Wall” Prison Program and was manager of the A.R.E. Study Group Program for many years.

She’s a poet, musician, yoga instructor, AND she makes a mean batch of Mummy Food (a special health recipe from the Cayce readings).

Through guided exercises and reflection, attendees will learn to release what no longer serves them and uncover the quiet brilliance of their authentic selves. Register at CareMemphis.org
