About the Cover . . .

“Black Flower”

by Irma McLeod

Summer has officially arrived, and our July cover captures the spirit we were searching for—artsy, whimsical, a little mischievous, and just plain delightful. When we saw Black Flower by the talented Irma McLeod, we knew we’d found the perfect fit. This fabulous feline feels like it’s moments away from pouncing on some mysterious garden surprise. Curious? We are, too!

We invite you to embrace the season’s lighter side: stop to smell the flowers, unleash your inner playfulness, and find joy in small adventures. A big thank you to Richard Stephens, our resident cat-lover, for returning to design this month’s cover—we know his love of cats made this one extra special!

As you’re exploring all the art during Gallery Walk, be sure to stop in to see more of Irma McLeod’s work at the Artists’ Workshop Gallery at 610A Central Avenue.

A round of appreciation to everyone who helped bring this sizzling issue together, and to you, our readers, for being part of The Springs Magazine family.
