Think Halloween Should Be More Than One Day? 

Awards presented by the Hot Springs Arts & Film Institute for Best Feature Film. 

Hot Springs Arts & Film Institute, KLAZ Radio, and DJ 10:29 from Club Nevermore are kicking off The Hot Springs International Horror Thriller and Sci-Fi Film Festival by extending the Halloween Spirit and hosting a Costume Party/Reception on Friday, Nov 8, from 6:00 PM – 10:30 PM. Films start at 11:30 AM on Saturday, Nov 9, and end Sunday, November 10, at midnight. 

The Hot Springs International Horror Thriller and Sci-Fi Film Festival is proud to have celebrity guest, Michael Berryman (known for The Hills Have Eyes, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and Star Trek The Voyage Home). 

Also, Alan Howarth will perform live, showcasing a selection of his renowned movie soundtracks, including Halloween, Escape from New York, The Thing, and more. In addition to meeting filmmakers, there will be several events, including workshops, a New Scary Vendor Area, and photo ops with Alfred Hitchcock’s Camera Crane. BBQ and Beer will be available. 

The film festival is hosted by Vapors Live, located at 315 Park Ave, Hot Springs National Park.
