ASO to Perform Children’s Concert October 13

Elementary students enjoy a performance by the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra.

The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra (ASO) will perform for Garland County elementary school children at Bank OZK Arena, 134 Convention Blvd, Hot Springs, on Thursday, October 13.

The theme is STORYTIME. The conductor is Geoffrey Robson. Children will be thrilled with the ASO’s performance of excerpts from Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro, John Williams’s Harry Potter, Paul Dukas’ Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet, and Stravinsky’s Firebird.

The concert will begin at 10:00 AM. The event is sponsored by the Hot Springs/Hot Springs Village Symphony Guild. For information or to volunteer, please email marthasmither@aol.com.
