The Music Box Lounge Brings Big Vibes to Uptown

A sneak peek at Uptown’s new performance venue.

Hot Springs has a new heartbeat on Park Avenue with the opening of The Music Box Lounge, a performance venue dedicated to music, laughter, and community. The venture is the vision of three owners—Steve Mitchell, Dan Breshears, and Levi Wilson—who share a passion for adding to the cultural vibrancy of Uptown Hot Springs.

The Music Box Lounge offers a wide variety of live entertainment, from Friday night variety shows to Broadway tributes, Sunday afternoon showcases, and themed weekly events like karaoke and dance nights

With its mix of comedy sketches, parody songs, and tributes to Arkansas’s rich musical heritage, the venue aims to create a space where locals and visitors alike can experience the spirit of Hot Springs’ past while enjoying fresh, dynamic performances.

Steve brings with him a lifelong connection to the city’s musical history, Dan contributes a wealth of production and community outreach experience, and Levi blends creative storytelling with a comedic flair that defines the venue’s shows. Together, they are determined to make The Music Box Lounge not just a performance space, but a cornerstone of Uptown’s renewal—where neon lights, music, and laughter once again spill out onto Park Avenue.
