Ouachita Speaker Series Announces September Program

Matuschka Lindo Briggs.

What do you know about how the Federal Reserve Board manages your money? There’s been so much in the news lately about how important the Fed is to the economy and ultimately affects all of us. The Ouachita Speaker Series has an exciting program in September that can enlighten the participants.

The Board welcomes Matuschka Lindo Briggs, Senior V.P. and Regional Executive with the Little Rock branch of the Federal Reserve Bank in St. Louis. The program will be held at The Woodlands Auditorium, 1101 DeSoto, in Hot Springs Village, on September 9, at 7 PM. Tickets are $15 each or 2 for $25 and may be obtained through www.hotspringsvillage.thundertix.com

In her role as Regional Executive, Lindo Briggs supports the Bank’s mission of promoting a healthy economy, financial stability, and community development by building durable, two-way relationships with business and community leaders across the state of Arkansas to help the St. Louis Fed gain a real-time, on-the-ground understanding of economic conditions on all corners of Main Street.

Prior to the Fed, Lindo Briggs was a general assignment, health and political reporter, and TV/radio host with NBC and ESPN affiliates. She also served as a national moderator and political campaign press secretary.
