Black Ribbon Books is hosting a unique creative writing experience, beginning August 1 and ending October 31. Participants have the opportunity to co-create a novel with other local residents and visitors to Hot Springs. This Community Collaborative Creation Project is open to all ages. There is no charge to participate.

Simply come to Black Ribbon Books (BRB), 239 Central Avenue (in the basement of the Arlington Hotel) and ask to add to the novel. You will be directed to a writing booth where you can read what has already been written and add your sentence, paragraph, or page to the group creation. BRB is open Wednesday – Monday. Closed Tuesday.

The topic of the novel will be provided, and the goal is to have a complete book. All the collaborative writing will be presented as an exhibition. Be sure to give your contact information so you stay informed about the progress on the novel.

Two other writing booth sites will be announced in August. Each booth has a different theme for the novel you will be co-creating. For updates, please follow Facebook: T.W Studio or Facebook: Black Ribbon Books
