Gateway Hosts Jazz Smooth Soul Food Dinner 

The Gateway Community Association (GCA) is set to host its Smooth Jazz Soul Food Family Style Fundraiser Sunday Dinner at 501 Prime located at 215 E. Grand Avenue, on Sunday, December 1, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Doors open at 3:30 PM. 

G-Music of the Art Porter Music Foundation from Little Rock, will provide smooth jazz music for the night’s event. 

This dinner is an opportunity to kick off your Christmas holiday celebration by bringing your family, and gathering your friends and loved ones to join the GCA in an unforgettable evening of good food, special entertainment, and great music. In addition to a fun-filled evening and just in time for Christmas, you will be able to participate in a silent auction and chances to win gift baskets, at an additional price. 

The Gateway’s Mission is to, “To bring residents, property owners, and businesses together to address the needs, issues, and problems of the Gateway.”  

The proceeds from the dinner allow GCA to continue to act within the community by offering two scholarships for new and returning college students, placing historic markers within the Pleasant Street Historic District of great African Americans whose contributions have impacted not only the Gateway Community and Hot Springs but the nation; as well as allowing GCA to adopt a family for Christmas.  

Ticket donation prices for this Soul Food Family Style dinner include your meal as well as tea, water, coffee or soda, and a one-year membership with the Gateway Community Association.  A cash bar will be available. 

General seating is $50. V.I P.  selected seating is $75. Each ticket holder will receive a Thank You Swag Bag. Sponsor tables of eight are available and each ticketholder will receive a Thank You Swag Bag along with selected fun entertainment visiting their table. 

The Gateway Community Association is looking forward to spending this extravagant evening with you, your family, and your friends.
