The Arkansas Craft Guild’s 46th Annual Christmas Showcase featuring fine handmade arts and crafts will be held December 6-8, at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds Hall of Industry, 2600 Howard Street, in Little Rock.

Hours are Friday 10 AM – 6 PM, Saturday 9 AM – 6 PM, and Sunday 10 AM – 4 PM. There is free gated parking and casual dining on-site. Admission is $5 per person. Mention this ad at the door and two get in for the price of one.

Featured potters who became members of the Guild last year, Ray Schott and Virgeen Healey bring sculptural techniques to their art. After pursuing successful careers in other creative fields Ray and Virgeen discovered the clay medium and fell in love with its possibilities.

While their individual styles differ greatly, both are united by a shared philosophy: finding joy in the everyday miracles of life.

Their studio, Cré Maith (meaning “Good Clay” in Gaelic), seeks to capture both the grace and chaos that surround us. Whether through nature-inspired pieces or sculptural, textured works, organic elements remain at the heart of their creations.

Each piece is hand-built and one-of-a-kind, allowing for boundless creative expression. Cré Maith’s distinctive style has earned them recognition, securing spots in juried shows across Missouri and Illinois, along with gallery representation in exhibitions.
