“Mystic Ozark”

This month, we take great pleasure in introducing Mystic Ozark, the latest gem in Hot Springs’ historic downtown bathhouses. Mystic Ozark provides an entertaining and educational downtown presence for Mid-America Science Museum.

Turn to page 9 of this issue for a sneak peek at the Mystic experience that features interactive themed environments, water features, projection mapping, and engaging hands-on exhibits.

Five years in the planning, Mystic Ozark breathes new life into one of Hot Springs’ beloved bathhouses. Stop in to learn about our treasured thermal waters, snap a fun photo in an authentic bathhouse tub, investigate the history of local water sources, marvel at the various artifacts from several of the historic bathhouses, pick up some colorful Mystic Ozark merchandise, and create unforgettable memories.

Beware, though… rumors abound that a mysterious dragon is lurking within! Can’t wait to find out if it’s a fire breather!!! Stop in to enjoy this Mystic Ozark experience. Open Tuesday – Sunday. 9 AM – 5 PM.

On our cover this month, we feature the exceptional Mystic Ozark team: Chris Crowe, Terri Lee Dart (with the rubber duck), Luz Camacho, Layne Skinner (assistant director), and Romeo Lopez (director).

We appreciate the help from Diane Lafollette, Romer Lopez, Aaron Buckley, and the staff for their assistance in creating this bubbly cover photo. Thanks to Erin Baber, who added her perfect finishing touches to the cover design.

Wishing you a fabulous June – we’ll be back in touch next issue!
