Space Cowboy
A film about skydiver and cinematographer Joe Jennings, directed by Marah Strauch and Bryce Leavitt

October in Hot Springs is brimming with festivals, and The Springs Magazine is thrilled to feature one of this year’s highlights on our cover.

Celebrating its 33rd year, our Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival is the longest-running documentary film festival in the country.

For many years, The Springs has had the honor of including a version of the festival program in our magazine.

This year, our cover photo showcases the Opening Night film, Space Cowboy, an exciting story of skydiving and cinematography, filled with breathtaking stunts and captivating interviews.

Don’t miss the Festival Program Guide in this issue for highlights on films, workshops, parties, and more details about the festival.

A special thanks to Erin Baber for creating this stunning cover and the festival program cover. We also appreciate everyone who contributed to making this monster issue possible. Enjoy your October, everyone!

We hope to see you at the movies with the Festival Program in hand!
