Dynamic Duncan Quintet Heads JazzFest

The Arthur Duncan Quintet will headline Jazz Fest September 2.

The dynamic Arthur Duncan Quintet will thrill the audience at the 31st Hot Springs JazzFest on Saturday, September 2, in downtown Hot Springs on Broadway, under the “Skybridge.” Bring your dancing shoes because your toes will be tapping when Arthur hits the stage.

As a former Stan Kenton jazz camp pianist, he keeps the crowd swaying and jumpin’ in their seats. Arthur has been a judge at many jazz festivals throughout the Midwest and he knows the audience wants the atmosphere alive with electrifying sounds that make the listener glad they came.

The Hot Springs Jazz Society free JazzFest starts at noon on Broadway Avenue, under the Skybridge. Some seating is available on-site, however, lawn chairs are suggested. No coolers allowed. There will be food vendors, a beer tent, festival T-shirts, two stages, and more for your entertainment.

Artists from Arkansas and the nation are scheduled for concerts including an additional intimate concert in the historic New Ohio Club with the Clyde Pound Trio on Thursday, August 31.
