LH Students Collaborating with Artists’ Workshop Gallery

Lake Hamilton Advanced Placement (AP) students have been given the opportunity to collaborate with Artists’ Workshop Gallery. Fourteen AP studio art students will have their work displayed throughout November with an option to sell the work to the public. Students may also volunteer at the Artists’ Workshop Gallery to learn more about how a gallery works.

Advanced Placement is a college level course that allows for the growth and development of the student artist. The course requires an inquiry-guided investigation through practice, experimentation, and revision. Students working in the AP course will create 15-20 works of art this year for their final submission in May. Currently, this group of seniors are finalizing their theme for their concentrated body of work.

Artists’ Workshop Gallery is a 25-member co-op art gallery located at 601A Central Avenue in downtown Hot Springs. The gallery is open Monday through Saturday, 10 am-5 pm; Sunday, 12-5 pm.
