Summer Camps at Science Museum

Mid-America Science Museum announced its summer camp schedule for children 6-12 beginning June 21 – August 6. (Must be age 6 at the start of camp date and have completed first grade.) The camp dates and themes are:
~Jun 21-25  Minecraft IRL (In Real Life – Take Minecraft off the screen and into real life!

~Jun 28-Jul 2 Mad Scientist Lab – Bubbling potions, exploding experiments and lots and lots of slime! What more could a young mad scientist need?!

~Jul 5-9 ScienceMakes-ART (SMART) – Where science meets art! Automatas (self-operating machines), Soap Sculptures, Toy Take-Apart, Chemistry in Painting

~Jul 12-16 Techtastic – Learn all about robots, coding, 3-D printing and more!

~Jul 19-23 Down and Dirty – Bugs, dirt, and dinosaurs! Who’s ready to get down and dirty exploring the science under our feet?

~Jul 26-30 Inventor’s Workshop –Investigate the inventions of the past, explore how things move and get inspiration to create your own invention to make our lives easier.

~Aug 2-6 Magic for Muggles – Join our professors as we explore the realm of Muggle magic…science!
