Akasha Bey offers premium perinatal and feminine wellness services, including spiritual consulting, womb energy work, yoni steaming, traditional waist bead adorning, and artisanal holistic products.
Akasha Bey, an advanced holistic health minister and midwife, was raised by spiritually gifted matriarchs. She observed how, though most of them identified as “religious,” their customs and practices were deeply interwoven in rich cultural traditions.
This upbringing revealed the inherent connection between ancestral wisdom, the divine feminine, and the birthing process, guiding her to integrate midwifery with Goddess spirituality to honor the physical and spiritual journeys of womanhood.
The eldest of four, Akasha helped raise her siblings, an experience enhanced by all the women in her family who imparted traditional West African, Indigenous wisdom and healing methods for perinatal and self-care. This led her to have midwife-assisted home births for two of her five children.
Her professional journey began in 2010 as a lactation consultant. Fascinated by the female body’s intricate processes, she later became a doula, then a midwife.
Akasha soon found herself offering womb services and support beyond birth, realizing “Everything connects back to the energy of birth, and transformation.” The “Midwife,” she says, “in essence, guides through these significant, sometimes mysterious, life phases.”
New to Hot Springs, Akasha feels the natural environment complements her practice. She offers premium perinatal and feminine wellness services to the region, including spiritual consulting, womb energy work, yoni steaming, traditional waist bead adorning, and artisanal holistic products.
She’s taking new appointments beginning in July. To book call 501-463-6580, Monday-Friday, 10 AM-7 PM.
