Internationally acclaimed cosplay duo Cowbutt Crunchies will return to the ninth Spa-Con comics and pop culture convention at the Hot Springs Convention Center September 19 – 21. “Cowbutt Crunchies coming back for our ninth Spa-Con is such a big deal,” Visit Hot Springs Special Events Manager Alexis Hampo said. “We were blown away in 2022, and I imagine they’re going to amaze us again with their skillful and creative cosplays.”

Cowbutt Crunchies specialize in complex couture cosplay and incredible pop culture-based designs, creating mixed media masterpieces using a variety of techniques, including advanced needlework, extreme wigwork, moldmaking, armor detailing, and more. They will conduct the Mixed Media Embroidery Workshop — free to ticket holders — and will judge the Cosplay Contest on Saturday.

“Regan and Scone, were so kind the last time they were here,” Hampo said. “They took so much time to talk to fans and truly were just gems. They’re the ultimate pros in the cosplay world. This is who you want to get advice from when it comes to cosplay.”

Weekend passes are $35, and VIP passes are $150 and can be purchased at www.spa-con.org. For more information, contact Alexis Hampo at 501-321-2027.
