“Invasion of the Bubble!”
Photo of Livie Thompson
By Photographer Ashley Thompson
At just 10 years old, Livie Thompson is a true Renaissance girl—an artist, athlete, and the youngest official volunteer of the Hot Springs Area Cultural Alliance (HSACA).
During the 2024 Arts & The Park festival last April, Livie lent a helping hand with the Cutwell 4 Kids Graffiti Wall, created by Anthony Tidwell, fearlessly braved the rain, and even took a well-earned break to enjoy the mesmerizing performance of Big Poppa Bubble at Art Springs in Hill Wheatley Plaza.
A dedicated young artist, Livie creates regularly and isn’t afraid to collaborate alongside some of Hot Springs’ most celebrated talents. HSACA looks forward to watching her continue her artistic journey and volunteer work. And if you’re lucky, you just might spot her in a green volunteer apron—perhaps even signing autographs of her cover photo!
A heartfelt thanks to Livie’s mom, Ashley Thompson, for sharing this cherished photo of a precious moment in time. Livie truly embodies the ARTventurous spirit of the festival. We look forward to seeing everyone at this year’s creative and entertaining events!
And sincere thanks to the team whose efforts pulled this year’s festival program together! From HSACA, Liz Colgrove, Whit Bishop, and Amanda Mitchell, and from our Springs Team, Erin Baber, Kim Everhart, and Jani O’Donnell!
Have a blessed spring! From The Springs Team~!
