About the Cover . . .

Paul Wineland – Jackson House

Photography by Pam Clark

As we kick off our 33rd year of publishing, we’re honoring the spirit of volunteering, leadership, commitment to a cause, and giving back to the community.

Paul Wineland, our cover feature, is a shining example of these qualities. His decision to volunteer stems from a desire to give back to Jackson House, an organization that once supported him.

Thanks to Pam Clark for her photographic skills and her willingness to give back to our community by offering her time and skills to photograph Paul for our cover.

Lana Pierce, The Springs’ own Lois Lane, volunteered to interview Paul and wrote a terrific article about him, which you can find on page 14 of this issue. Janie Smith and Tammy Jones of Jackson House had nothing but praise for Paul and were eager to share his story with us.

A special thanks to Erin Baber, whose design expertise brought our January cover to life. Together, we collaborated on the layout, and the result truly reflects the power of teamwork.

This cover and the accompanying article are a true representation of what we value—collaboration and community spirit. Here’s to all those who give their time and energy to volunteer, whether they’re giving back, paying it forward, or simply seeking the rewards of doing good.

Blessings to all for a Happy New Year from The Springs Magazine Team!
