Library Offers Income Tax Preparation and Early Voting

The Garland County Library will soon offer free income tax assistance, an informational candidate forum, and early voting for all registered voters in Garland County.

The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers will prepare free income tax returns beginning February 1, 2024. Tax-Aide will begin at 8:30 AM and end around noon, Monday through Friday, and on select Saturdays. Visit www.gclibrary.com/news for all tax-related information.

All state and local candidates on the Garland County ballot have been invited to participate in a state and local candidate forum on February 6. Doors open for a meet-and-greet at 5:30 PM, forum begins at 6 PM. The event will be live at the Library and will be streamed on the Library’s Facebook and YouTube pages.

All registered voters in Garland County can vote at the Library:

  • 2/20 | 8 AM – 6 PM
  • 2/21 | 8 AM – 6 PM
  • 2/22 | 8 AM – 6 PM
  • 2/23 | 8 AM – 6 PM
  • 2/24 | 10 AM – 4 PM
  • 2/26 | 8 AM – 6 PM
  • 2/27 | 8 AM – 6 PM
  • 2/28 | 8 AM – 6 PM
  • 2/29 | 8 AM – 6 PM
  • 3/1 | 8 AM – 6 PM
  • 3/2 | 10 AM – 4 PM
  • 3/4 | 8 AM – 5 PM

Election Day:

  • 3/5 | 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM
