The Hot Springs Arts & Crafts Fair is celebrating 53 years October 7-9, at the Garland County Fairgrounds at 4831 Malvern Road.

This year’s juried show of handmade crafts has been planned from beginning to end by a diversified group of volunteers from many of the Garland County Extension Homemakers Council Clubs.

There are over 200 vendors including quilting, clothing, stuffed animals, baby items, paintings, soaps, lotions, candles, jewelry, wooden utensils, and furniture. For the kiddos there is a bouncy house and petting zoo. Food vendors offer a variety of items including BBQ, kettle corn, funnel cakes, corn dogs, Mexican food, and more.

The Extension Homemakers kitchen is open with the ever-popular ham & bean dinners and freshly made donut holes, as well as hot dogs, burgers, fries, and more. Free golf cart taxis are a big hit for taking treasures to shoppers’ cars.
