Member’s Exhibit at Artists’ Workshop Gallery

Another new year is upon us and Artists’ Workshop Gallery (AWG) has much to celebrate. The non-profit artist cooperative has added several new members and the gallery’s offerings continue to be exciting and numerous. AWG’s 2021 was a banner year for the gallery and it is looking forward to an even better 2022.

The Member’s Exhibit, an annual event, features the work of all 28 of the gallery’s members. They will have paintings hanging in the featured artist exhibit, in addition to their regular displays. Paintings range from the ethereal to the realistic, in a variety of mediums—watercolor, acrylic, pastel, and oil, in many different genres: abstract, landscape, still life, figurative, and more.

The gallery also features fabric art, pottery, glassworks, small sculptures, journals, jewelry and note cards—something for every art lover. In addition, the Miniatures exhibit will be on display in January.

Lakeside High School art students will also be exhibiting their artwork in the gallery during January and February.

For Gallery Walk on January 7, the gallery is excited to welcome Charlie Mink, who will be playing music for the listening pleasure of its visitors.

Visit the gallery at 610A Central Avenue, Hot Springs. 501-623-6401. The hours are Sunday Noon–5 pm, Monday 10 am–5 pm, and Wednesday through Saturday 10 am–5 pm. Gallery Walk on Friday, January 7 is 5-9 pm.
