A trio of desperate criminals infiltrates Susan’s Greenwich Village apartment, determined to get what they want in Wait Until Dark, written by Frederick Knott and adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher. The classic thriller appears next on the main stage at the Pocket Community Theatre, directed by Kevin Day.
“I wanted to do the original version as written by the playwright Frederick Knott, but then I read this revised adaptation by Jeffrey Hatcher, and I really liked some of the changes that were made,” Director Kevin Day shared. What begins with a woman seeking to adjust to her recent blindness ends with thrilling consequences as she cleverly finds ways to best her attackers.
