Joe Sturgill and Company Interior Design

Joe Sturgill’s One-Day Room Makeover dramatically refreshes spaces using a client’s existing furniture.

Born in Houston, Texas, Joe Sturgill moved to a farm outside Hot Springs, Arkansas, in 1968 when his father retired. He launched his creative path upon graduating from Lake Hamilton High School in 1971 by opening The Royal Florist.

Sturgill studied art at Garland County Community College and Henderson State University while honing his craftsmanship under Pat Haering at Hot Springs Florist. After establishing The Arrangement and working twelve years with Southwestern Bell, he co-founded Laurels Gifts and Christmas in the Park with Alan Clark and Rebecca Whelan in 1989. He officially established Joe Sturgill and Company Interior Design in 2004.

Today, Sturgill leads a full-service interior design and lifestyle studio transforming residences from New York and South Carolina to Montana. Guided by the belief that every home should genuinely reflect its owner’s personality, he provides complete project oversight from initial design to final installation, with packages tailored to fit every client’s needs.

His firm specializes in full-scale kitchen and bath remodels, architectural lighting, custom window treatments, and fine art curation, collaborating seamlessly with builders, contractors, and architects.

Beyond traditional design, Sturgill is widely celebrated for his signature One-Day Room Makeover, which dramatically refreshes spaces using a client’s existing furniture. He also provides white-glove moving coordination, custom floral artistry, wedding and event planning, and complete seasonal holiday decorating.

An award-winning designer and featured speaker, Joe Sturgill remains dedicated to bringing complete home lifestyle plans to life with artful precision and care. You can contact him at 501-802-4111 or joesturgillcompany.com.
