Enjoy the breathtaking splendor of Where the Wind Lives at Garvan Gardens.
This summer, art takes flight at Garvan Woodland Gardens with Where the Wind Lives, a breathtaking large-scale installation by internationally acclaimed artist Patrick Shearn of Poetic Kinetics. Suspended above the Gardens’ natural landscape, this immersive exhibit transforms wind into movement, light, and color—creating a living, ever-changing experience for every guest.
As warm breezes move through the Gardens, the artwork ripples, dances, and shimmers across the sky—blending seamlessly with the beauty of the surrounding forest. Installed in multiple locations throughout the Gardens, each piece invites visitors to pause, look up, and experience nature in a whole new way.
Experience the magic of summer in motion—only at Garvan Woodland Gardens. Where the Wind Lives is included with general admission and will be on display at the gardens, located at 550 Arkridge Road, through October 18.
Tickets can be purchased at garvangardens.org. $22 Adults | $10 Ages 4-12 | 3 and under free | Dogs on a short leash $5.
