The Garland County Historical Society (in association with the Garland County Library) will present “Smart Charitable Giving” on Tuesday, July 28, at 1 PM at the Garland County Library, at 1427 Malvern Avenue, Hot Springs. People can attend in person or can view the program virtually on Facebook: Garland County Library or YouTube: Garland Co Library

If you’re curious about or interested in leaving a legacy, at this program you can learn about the current ins and outs of planned giving from Ashley Coldiron, Chief Development Officer of the Arkansas Community Foundation (ACF). Coldiron is an expert on planned giving and is very familiar with Hot Springs nonprofit organizations.  Whatever organizations you’re interested in or whatever your income, she will have helpful advice as she shares techniques for creating a lasting legacy of giving.

Coldiron is a native Arkansan and holds a B.S. in Business from Centenary College and an M.B.A. from UA-Little Rock. She has worked in the nonprofit sector since 1992 and is a current board member of the Estate Planning Council of Arkansas. She has worked for ACF since January of 2015.
