Creek Hopping Hot Springs

3 Part Series–Last Saturday of the Month | 10AM-Noon

Did you know that fish, amphibians, and reptiles tell us a lot about how healthy our water is? Some species are even considered Biological Indicators of healthy waterways.

This FREE three-part series will be held on the last Saturday of the month (May, June, and July) from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM, at the Train Trestle along the Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail.

Come dip a net with Trails Coordinator, Hannah Rice, to find out what critters live in the creek. Parking is accessible at the corner of Shady Grove Road and Scott Street or in the Rotary Centennial Trailhead parking lot. Nets are provided at the event.

Be sure to wear appropriate clothing and shoes that can get wet. This series is hosted by the Hot Springs Parks & Recreation Department, Garland County Conservation District.
