Edgar Cayce’s Spiritual Legacy Lives On

Edgar Cayce.

In 1931, Edgar Cayce began delivering a series of readings that outlined practical steps for achieving genuine spiritual growth. A dedicated group of individuals collaborated with Cayce to study, apply, and reflect on these teachings. Their shared experiences and insights were eventually compiled into lessons and published as A Search for God (ASFG), Books I and II.

The Hot Springs Search for God Study Group meets 5:30 – 7 PM weekly on Mondays at the Creative Life Church at 229 Bayard Street, next to Hollywood Park. During these gatherings, participants read and discuss the ASFG material, share their experience applying the concepts, report on their dreams, and meditate together. Many of these groups stay connected for years, even decades, offering one another meaningful support and lasting friendships.

The Search for God material is designed to be accessible and beneficial to individuals from all backgrounds and belief systems. Within this nurturing small group environment, participants are encouraged to cultivate a personal relationship with the Divine – both within themselves and in others.

Together, group members explore meditation, dreams, intuition, and spiritual laws. Through this process, individuals can discover greater meaning and purpose in life, deepen communication with the Divine, and become a “light to the waiting world.”
