Cheers to 36 Years of Gallery Walk!

Special thanks to local artist Gary Simmons for his timeless depiction of the vibrant personalities behind Gallery Walk. We love revisiting this piece from our archives—a lively reminder of the creativity and spirit as seen through Gary’s timeless lens. Odds are, you’ll spot many of these familiar characters on August 1 as we celebrate 36 years of Gallery Walk together.

A Heartfelt Congratulations to our Incredible Galleries!

For 432 consecutive months, you’ve welcomed art lovers with open doors and open minds—celebrating both emerging and established talent across every medium. Your unwavering dedication is the heartbeat of this beloved tradition.

A special salute to Ann Gilbert at American Art Gallery, one of our founding galleries, for opening her doors every single month since the very first Gallery Walk. What an inspiring legacy of commitment!

And heartfelt congratulations to Dolores Justus as she enters her 21st year at Justus Fine Art Gallery, with deep appreciation for her leadership and lasting contributions to the local arts scene.

We also honor the long-standing efforts of the Artists’ Workshop Gallery, which has provided a space since the early ’90s for local artists to connect, share their work, and build community. Your impact continues to ripple through the creative heart of Hot Springs.

We wish we could name every gallery, artist, and business that makes Gallery Walk shine—but space is limited! So instead, check out the map below, and be sure to stop by to congratulate each of the wonderful participants who help keep this cherished tradition going strong month after month.
