About the Cover

“Big Steam’s Victor Wainwright” Photo by Austin Britt

We decided to mix things up for our September cover, stepping away from our usual format to showcase this vibrant photo of one of the headliners at the upcoming Big Steam Music Festival.

As the Delta sounds return to historic downtown Hot Springs, Big Steam is gearing up for its third year with a lineup that’s sure to rock the city.

We’re excited our cover features musician Victor Wainwright, whose heartfelt performances captivate audiences.

This year’s Big Steam festival will bring the “Mississippi Comes to Arkansas” musical experience to life, with an incredible lineup including Wainwright, Mr. Pipp, Gracie Curran, and many more. Gather your folks, pack your lawn chairs and blankets, and get ready for a weekend of unforgettable music.

A special shoutout to Erin Baber for the stunning visual that graces our September cover.

We look forward to seeing you on September 27-28 for a weekend filled with music, great food, and an unforgettable experience at Big Steam!

Happy September! See you next month for our Doc Film coverage!
