PACA Spring Cleanup Will Take Place April 27

Join Park Avenue Community Association (PACA) for a community cleanup and Trash to Treasure Festival Saturday, April 27. The annual PACA-sponsored Spring Cleanup will take place at 10 AM. Then Upcycle-Topia will begin at Noon – a festival dedicated to showcasing art created from discarded materials, everything from tin cans and bottle caps turned into beautiful jewelry, to scrap metal sculptures, to unique garden ornaments. The event demonstrates the resourcefulness of the artists who successfully upcycle trash into treasure, combining recycling and innovation to show creative ways to save our resources, while making one-of-a-kind art. Food, upcycled prizes, silent auction, craft tables, and live music will be available for all until 3 PM.

Since it was established in 1987, the PACA has helped restore Uptown Hot Springs’ historic Park Avenue neighborhoods with a new park, a community garden, rain gardens, historic preservation, street lighting, economic development, and environmental awareness.PACA meets on the 3rd Monday of each month. Check www.PACAHotSprings.org for the most accurate information regarding meetings.  Keep up with current events on Facebook: Park Avenue Community Association
