About the Cover…

You’ve been asking. We’ve been working on it. And now it’s ready for you…

Inside our October 2023 issue, you’ll find the 16-page Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival Program. It is also available on our website for viewing and download. Visit www.thespringsmagazine.com, and use the drop-down for Digital Issues. OR click this link to the full issue https://anyflip.com/kuez/gzgn/, or the direct link to the festival program at https://anyflip.com/kuez/joud/.

As we gear up for the start of the 32nd Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, October 6-14, look for a lineup of funny, inspiring, sad, profound, educational, thought-provoking, and motivating films. Tickets for the festival are available at www.hsdfi.org.

It most certainly takes a village, or in our case – a quarky little town – to make this special issue with the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival program come together. Thanks to Erin Baber for her creative work on The Springs’s main cover as well as the HSDFF Program cover. Kim Everhart and Liz Colgrove put their red pencils to work editing. Annie Gerber and her team provided the content for the program. Ken Jacobson’s eagle-eye gave us valuable input up til the eleventh hour. Rob Talley made the “moonshine run” to bring the trailer packed with two huge pallets of papers home in time for Daryn Wilkin, Karen Watson Reeves, Lynn Janaskie, and Bethany Breshears to get them on the racks for all you readers to enjoy.

Thanks to everyone who had a hand in making this happen! Happy October! See you at the movies!
