Tarot and Astrology: Libra

The Major Arcana Tarot card associated with Libra is Justice/Adjustment.

By Michelle Crandell
People born between September 23 and October 22 are Libras, AIR signs, The Scales. The corresponding Major Arcana card is Justice/Adjustment.

September 23 to October 2: TWO OF AIR (SWORDS). You believe you can fix things, make things as good as new… even better. You apply this philosophy to objects, organizations, relationships, and people. Your lesson: learn to compromise with reality. Don’t let Perfect become the enemy of the Good. A truce may not feel satisfying but it is a win-win. Your challenge: making peace with time constraints, input from others, “not your job” and most of all, your own perfectionism.

October 3 to 12: THREE OF AIR (SWORDS). Your lesson: how to be a successful member of society. As a natural anthropologist/sociologist, you are fascinated by political causes, clubs, charity organizations, etc. You value social ties and enjoy influencing social groups. Your challenge: managing your moral outrage and negative rumination when you see injustice and unfairness in the world; tempering your outspokenness with active listing.

October 13 to 22: FOUR OF AIR (SWORDS). You find security in habit, yet you have an active mind. You tend to remain in situations that are stagnant, knowing you need to move on. The result is negative thinking and/or complaining. Your lesson: do what you know you need to do. Your challenge: finding a way to rest your weary mind, living your dreams.
