About the Cover … Hot Water Hill Music & Arts Festival Artwork by Chris & Sandy Meeks

When it comes to finding outrageous covers for The Springs Magazine, sometimes it just takes asking the right person. In this case, a casual ask to Sonny Kay over at Low Key Arts lead to our good fortune in snagging a second Chris Meeks cover. (Check out our March 2021 issue.)

Chris and his wife Sandy are the creative geniuses behind this madcap poster designed for Hot Water Hills Music & Arts Festival.

To make the poster work for us, I did a bit of photoshopping and sent it over to Richard Stephens, our favorite cover guy, so he could put his magic touch to work and . . . voilà! A September cover for you to enjoy!

See page 4 of this issue for more festival details and head over to www.hotwaterhills.com to see the full version of the poster – the detail is amazing. While you’re there,  check out the lineup of fabulous music.

Thank you, Sonny, Richard, and especially Chris and Sandy! At The Springs, we like to say it takes a quarky village, wouldn’t you agree? Here’s to a rockin’ September, Everyone!

Please share our online issues of The Springs at www.thespringsmagazine.com.
