About the Cover … Happy 33rd Anniversary Gallery Walk

Happy 33rd Anniversary Gallery Walk

The Springs Magazine called on artist Gary Simmons for one of his famed Gallery Walk cartoons for our August cover to commemorate the 33rd Anniversary of Gallery Walk. Simmons likes to portray us at our finest and he certainly managed that with his comical cartoon.

We hope you’ll take a trip to Downtown Hot Springs for Gallery Walk on Friday, August 5, from 5-9 PM. Stop in to congratulate the galleries for preserving this community event for 396 consecutive months. Rain, shine, snow, hail, floods, and Covid-19 – nothing prevented the dedicated gallery owners from opening on the first Friday of each month. Check out our Gallery Pages for more info about the gallery happenings this month.

Special thanks to Gary Simmons for his delightful coverage of our town and for sharing his artwork.

And Richard Stephens … Thank you for taking our images and turning out great covers month after month!!!

Stay cool, safe, and healthy as we head back to school!

Happy August, Everyone!
