About the Cover… Our 30th Anniversary!

Thanks to all of you who have made 30 years possible!!!!!

The Springs Magazine’s 30th Anniversary cover is a tribute to the many artists, festivals, celebrations, beautiful people, and to the remarkable history of the Hot Springs community. The creativity, diversity, and talent harbored in our town have given us plenty to report on over the years.

There are so many people to thank for making this possible.
To Sonja Lash and Diana Hampo, whose vision was the beginning of this wild ride.
Of course, our advertisers, without whom 30 years of FREE issues could never have happened.
To Sonja, for the many years she managed to keep the magazine vital and relevant to our readers.
To our readers, who have picked up The Springs at grocery stores, restaurants, doctor’s offices, and at hundreds of businesses over the years.
To the hard-working folks who have delivered tens of thousands of our magazines, regardless of rain, snow, sleet, or hail.
To the fantastic salespeople who have built long-term relationships with our ad clients.

A very special tip of the hat must go to our patient and talented cover designer – Richard Stephens. While we’ve had imaginative covers designed by others over the years, Richard was with us at the very beginning and since 1993, has created over 300 of our covers, taking our concepts and bringing them to life, giving us a superb history of Hot Springs and its diverse events.

Thank you to everyone who has had a hand in keeping us on the racks…and especially to all of you who have provided the content that fills our pages. You people are AMAZING! And we’re looking forward to finding out what the future holds!
