Catch Checked Out on KUHS Every Thursday

Erin Baber and Brent Carroll host “Check Out” on KUHS 102.5FM on Thursday mornings.

By Erin Baber
Every Thursday morning from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., listen to Technical Services Librarian, Brent Carroll and me, PR/Marketing Coordinator Erin Baber, on Checked Out, the Library’s weekly community radio show. Find the show at KUHS 102.5 FM, or online at www.kuhsradio.org.

The idea is simple – each week Brent and I choose a movie from Hoopla Digital (a free service with your Garland County Library card that you should absolutely use because it’s incredible), run a vote on Instagram at @checkedout_kuhs, and watch the winning movie to discuss on air.

We spend the first half-hour of each show playing some music, talking about what is going on in Hot Springs and at the Library, and discussing odd news and current events, as neutrally and objectively as possible. Remember, the content discussed on this show is opinions and does not necessarily reflect the opinions of the Library as an organization.

Learn more about the Library at www.gclibrary.com or by calling the Library at 501-623-4161. Email delivery@gclibrary.com to start getting your books and movies delivered straight to your door. Find and follow Garland County Library on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
