About the Cover…“Various Roses” by Jimmy Leach

This vibrant, textured painting by Jimmy Leach, titled “Various Roses,” graces the cover of The Springs Magazine’s June issue.

This stunning piece, as well as other works of his, are shown at American Art Gallery, at 724 Central Avenue, in downtown Hot Springs. The gallery is open Monday – Saturday, 10AM – 5PM, so there’s ample opportunity to stop in to see it.

“Various Roses” is a 20” x 20” acrylic gallery wrap, rich in texture and color. While it photographs beautifully, seeing it in person is worth the visit.

In addition to their regular hours, American Art Gallery is also open for First Friday Gallery Walk, 5 PM-9 PM, June 4. Please take the opportunity to drop in to see it.

We thank our long-time cover designer, Richard Stephens, for his creative covers each month. He’s been with us since the beginning and has put his talent to well over 300 of our covers. His “real” job is as a watercolorist and he’s also an excellent teacher. Visit his website to check out his superb watercolors and his schedule of workshops. www.raswatercolors.com.

All of us at The Springs Magazine, wish you a happy, healthy, and fun summer of 2021! Enjoy the ride!
