Handmade Holiday Shop Open on Central Avenue

The Handmade Holiday Shop will open for its eighth year and will feature several local artisans. The Shop is described as a “pop up” and each year the shop will “pop up” in an available location making each year’s holiday season a festive event for artisans and shoppers alike.

The Handmade Holiday Shop is operated by women and staffed with the artists. This year’s location is 1304 Central Avenue, former home of Dad’s Tools and the Blue Waters Fine Art Gallery.

Plenty of easy customer parking is located behind the building. The shop will be open 10am – 6pm, Wednesday – Sunday, through December 29th.

All items in the Holiday Shop are required to be made by artists who are predominantly women. They will offer a variety of items from fine to fun and from big to small, including pottery, paintings, jewelry, mosaics, sculptures, ornaments, stained glass, steampunk wares, macramé, aprons, cards, and magnets. There is a price range for every budget and it is important that items are one of a kind.
