HSV Players Cast Includes Many Family Members

“Family entertainment” takes on a special meaning in the upcoming Hot Springs Village Players’ production of You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Revised.) The cast includes numerous family actors from the Hot Springs and Hot Springs Village communities. Siblings Madison Thompson and Trak Thompson (Fountain Lake High School) team up for the musical.

Fountain Lake School faculty member Jeff Forbess joins son, Malakai and daughter, Jubilee (both Jessieville School students) in the chorus.

Husband and wife team Kathy and Shawn Clark (Hot Springs Village) contribute their talents. The cast is rounded out with Ben Romero (Jessieville High School); Christian Botter, (Fountain Lake High School); Lauren Cox, (Fountain Lake Middle School); Steve Robinson, Hot Springs; Mickey Stant, Jill Fitzgerald, and Sheila Thurston, Hot Springs Village.

You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Revised) is delightful fare for kids of all ages. Performances are slated for Oct. 26 and 28 (7 PM) and Oct. 27 (2 PM) at Coronado Center, Hot Springs Village and Nov. 2 (7 PM) and Nov. 3 (2 PM) at Fountain Lake School Auditorium. Directed by Cathy Kraus, the HSVP production is a revised version of the original show, which debuted on Broadway in 1967, produced by Arthur Whitelaw and Gene Persson.
