The 34th Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival (HSDFF), October 10 -18, is looking for volunteers for this year’s festival. A variety of roles are available, including: theater attendants, airport transportation drivers, selling concessions and merchandise, VIP Lounge attendants, box office sales, and more. The volunteers are generally on 4-hour shifts.
According to HSDFF Executive Director Ken Jacobson, “Our volunteers are the heart and soul of HSDFF. Not only could we not do the festival without them, why would we even try? We love our volunteers and what they bring to the event. They are truly special.”
In addition to being a part of a world-class film festival and interacting with a community of film lovers and filmmakers alike, HSDFF Volunteers also receive these great benefits:
- Volunteer T-shirt when you check in for your first shift
- DAY PASS for one day of screenings (includes the party that night; excludes Opening and Closing Night Gala screenings) after volunteering for two 4-hour shifts
- Invitation to Volunteer Appreciation Party
Important dates to note:
- Volunteer Meet & Greet: Sat., Sept. 27 @ 3 PM (Venue TBD)
- Volunteer Training: Sun., Oct. 3 @ 3 PM (Venue TBD)
- Volunteer Venue Walkthrough: Thur., Oct. 9 @ 6 PM (Arlington Hotel)
