Annual Benefit Gala for Levi Hospital “The Baron’s Ball”

The Baron, Davis Tillman

The 30th Annual Levi Hospital Benefit Gala will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021. This year The Baron’s Ball presents “The Pharaoh’s Feast ~ An Egyptian Fantasy.” Vegas-style performers and talent from across the country have been secured for an evening filled with glitz, glamour, fine dining, and a first-class show and dancing.

Each year Davis Tillman and his wife Suellen lend their creative gifts to support Levi Hospital’s annual fundraising event.

“This is the 18th year for the Baron, Davis Tillman, to serve as creative director and emcee of the Baron’s Ball. Sadly, for those of us at Levi, this will be his last Baron’s Ball,” said Jackie Arrison, VP for Development at Levi. “It will not be the last Baron’s Ball event, just the last one with Davis,” said Arrison.

Hospital President CEO Pat McCabe stated, “We are happy for Davis as he steps down to enjoy his retirement and we find ourselves at a loss for words to adequately express our gratitude for all that he has done to support Levi Hospital over the past 18 years. He gave this event a name and a reputation as the premier event of the season.”

The Levi Hospital Benefit Gala will be held at the Hot Springs Convention Center in Horner Hall beginning at 6:00 p.m. with a reception and silent auction.

The evening will also feature a LIVE Auction with 2 unique opportunities – attendees will have an opportunity to bid on a weekend getaway at pro angler Jimmy Houston’s Twin Eagles Ranch. Enjoy a 2,000-acre slice of Oklahoma’s prime backwoods as well as fishing on Twin Eagle, a 125-acre private lake located in the heart of Jimmy and Chris Houston’s ranch.

Also available in the LIVE Auction is a 4-night stay at Ocean Oak Resort in Hilton Head, SC where you can relax in a two-bedroom suite with full kitchen, living room, and dining room. There is direct beach access from the resort, and guests can rent kayaks or bikes. Other amenities include a restaurant with ocean views and a sundeck with a swimming pool.

To close out the evening, guests are invited to enjoy a DJ Dance Party.

The Honorary Chair of this year’s event is Dorothy Morris. Dorothy is no stranger to The Baron’s Ball and certainly no stranger to helping many organizations with their fundraising efforts to better our community. The staff of Levi Hospital is grateful for her support and invites you to make plans to join Dorothy to raise funds for the hospital’s programs. Levi is honored to have Lara’s Jewelry and Design as a sponsor. For every $20 donation at the event or purchased in advance online at www.levihospitalbaronsball.org, there is a chance to win “The Jewel of the Nile.” The drawing will take place during the show to announce the winner!

All proceeds from the Baron’s Ball will benefit the programs at Levi Hospital including Outpatient Physical Therapy, Student Athlete Programs, Levi Transitions Counseling, and Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Care. For 107 years Levi Hospital has been serving Hot Springs and surrounding communities providing quality care.

“While Levi has great facilities and equipment, our success comes directly from the team of dedicated professionals whose only mission is to bring the patient to their highest level of function, whether that be physical, mental, or emotional. Levi Hospital is one of the oldest and longest-serving hospitals in the State of Arkansas, having opened its doors on November 1, 1914. Levi has always focused on meeting the community health needs,” said Pat McCabe, President and CEO.

As the hospital continues to meet the needs of its community, fundraising is an important component in providing patient care. Lending your support to this event will directly impact the quality programs provided by the caring staff at Levi Hospital.

As a not-for-profit entity, Levi provides services within the resources of its organization. Ticket and sponsorship opportunities for this year’s Baron’s Ball on November 6th are available for purchase by visiting www.levihospitalbaronsball.org.
