Nutcracker Ballet Costume Design Workshop

A costume design class under the direction of professional costume designer, William Henshaw, will be presented in conjunction with Emergent Arts, offering an opportunity to experience how the incredible costumes of live theater are designed and created.

Students, ages 12 and up, interested in costuming will experience the process of designing and creating costumes for this year’s performance of The Nutcracker by the Hot Springs Children’s Dance Theatre Company.

The class will conclude with the public performance of The Nutcracker which will allow students to see the integration of costume design and construction efforts with The Nutcracker performance.

Tuition for this 10-week class is $25. Vaccines and masks are required. Classes will be held Thursdays, 4:30 – 6:30 PM, September 16-November 18.
